One-in-four Americans struggle with health care costs
One-in-four Americans say they've had trouble affording health services throughout the past year as a result of the economic recession - a slump that economists expect to ease with the fourth quarter.
Throughout the past year, 17.4 percent of households have postponed or delayed health care.
And, according to researchers at Center for Healthcare Improvement, baby boomers -- or those born between 1946 and 1964 -- are most likely to put off medical treatments or services as a result of these cost concerns.
Finally, President Barack Obama and Congress are currently working on a health care reform that will strive to cover the 46 million Americans currently without health insurance.
